Alien Encounters
Missler and Eastman's book is an excellent look at the UFO
phenomenon from a Christian point of view. They begin by
spending several chapters establishing that there is something
more to many (though not all, of course) of the UFO sightings and
abduction stories. Only after they have done this do they go on
to analyze the problem and propose an End Time scenario.
Answers Book : The 20 Most-Asked Questions About
Creation, Evolution, & the Book of Genesis Answered
This book addresses some of the most asked questions on Genesis
and the creation/evolution issue. Each of these questions are
given a detailed, in-depth answer and a brief summary to help you
grasp the idea at a glance.
Ape-men: Fact or Fallacy?: A Critical Examination of the Evidence
Battle
For The Beginning
The battle for a true view of the beginning is not optional. Our
faith and the future of our world hangs on the truth about
creation. Dr. Mac Arthur insists that when naturalistic and
atheistic presuppositions are being aggressively peddled as if
they were established scientific fact, Bible believing Christians
"ought to expose such lies for what they are and oppose them
vigorously."
Beginning
of the World
If you want the highlights of Creation in one book, this is a
good one. There are many references to tie the actual scientific
evidence to the Scripture. For those Christians who have bought
the science fairy tale of evolution, this will help you get back
on firm footing with the truth. There are those in the end times
who will "choose to be ignorant." Do not be one of
those.
The Biblical Basis for Modern Science
If you are not deeply into science or technology, do not be
intimidated. This book presents an easy-to-read introduction to
the relationship between the Bible and Science. Unlike the
ignorant critics who would have us believe that the Bible was
written by nomads, or who tell us that the Big Bang theory is
fact (as if its major problems, or mainstream scientists who
question or reject it, did not exist), this book sticks to
scientific facts in presenting its case.
Bones of Contention : A Creationist Assessment of
the Human Fossils
The book presents a refreshing and honest approach to human
origins. For a change it is nice to be able to read all the
evidence without having information censored out because it does
not agree with evolution. It by far is the most in-depth book on
the human fossil evidence and clearly and scientifically
demonstrates the shabby work done to promote evolution.
Buried
Alive: The Startling Truth About Neanderthal Man
Dr. Jack Cuozzo, an orthodontist of many years' experience, is
the only creationist scientist to have gained access to original
Neanderthal fossil material for detailed study. This was before
the museum authorities realized his creationist world view -
after that the doors were closed to him. These are the rules the
evolutionist establishment (though not all evolutionist
individuals) play by: deny creationists access to the research
material where possible, and deny them the opportunity to publish
the results of their research, then tell the world they are only
armchair scientists. The physicist Robert Gentry was a victim of
this discrimination (read about his experiences in
"Creation's Tiny Mystery"), as well as the author of
this book, whose work exposed the heavy bias of evolutionist
anthropologists in reporting their research, even to the extent
of doctoring the evidence. Is the secular scientific
establishment pursuing an agenda to con the unsuspecting public
into evolutionary beliefs? Many will shrug off such a conspiracy
theory, but read this book before making up your mind.
Creation Evangelism for the New Millennium
The first of its kind on the market, this book offers a bold
approach to evangelism by looking at the effects of evolutionary
compromise on the modern church, and how to reverse the dangerous
trend. Ham alerts the church leaders and lay persons that a low
view of Genesis among Christian leaders is rendering the church
ineffective at evangelism in our modern world.
The
Creation: Evolution Controversy
Wysong's entertaining discussion of a wide range of topics grabs
the reader's attention and pulls him along. He is not shy about
treating issues quantitatively, but does it in a way that any
high school student should easily understand. On the other end of
the reader spectrum, I had be fascinated to see any professional
come up with counter arguments as quantitative and as compelling.
If you are going to read just one book on this subject, this is
the one!
Creation : Facts of Life
Author Gary Parker has a knack for writing in a lucid manner. He
makes the issues clear. It becomes obvious, to all but the most
prejudiced, that organic evolution does not deserve its oft
touted factual status. And that is saying the least.
Creation
Scientists Answer Their Critics
Fortunately, Dr. Gish does an excellent job refuting some of the
serious charges leveled against him and against Creation
scientists in general. Unfortunately, Gish cannot actually stop
his critics with this book, because the mud-slinging material is
created faster than it can be refuted. So, on the internet, I
still read things about Gish being dishonest, or stupid, or both.
However, why should I believe any of these charges when Gish has
successfully refuted so many other mud-slinging attempts? After
Gish shows, numerous times, that evolutionists are often careless
in their accusations of misquotation, why should I believe any
other accusations? In this book, Dr. Gish has answered so much
evolutionary nonsense that one must be skeptical of ANY
evolutionist accusation they may send at Creation scientists.
Darwin's Black Box : The Biochemical Challenge to
Evolution
Michael J. Behe, a biochemist at Lehigh University, presents here
a scientific argument for the existence of God. Examining the
evolutionary theory of the origins of life, he can go part of the
way with Darwin--he accepts the idea that species have been
differentiated by the mechanism of natural selection from a
common ancestor. But he thinks that the essential randomness of
this process can explain evolutionary development only at the
macro level, not at the micro level of his expertise. Within the
biochemistry of living cells, he argues, life is
"irreducibly complex." This is the last black box to be
opened, the end of the road for science. Faced with complexity at
this level, Behe suggests that it can only be the product of
"intelligent design."
Defeating Darwinism by Opening Minds
Is it not true that Science is supposed to be based upon
impartial logic and reason? How is it then, that modern
scientists would prefer to overlook logic and probability to
cling to impossible odds which would allow them to live
comfortably ignorant of God? I believe Da Vinci, Newton, and
Copernicus would be ashamed of modern day "scientific"
scholars who cling to what society claims as "truth"
instead of searching out independent answers to their questions,
just like the Catholic dogmatists in the dark ages. This book is
a good introduction into the odds and complexities and
understanding the principles of evolution while explaining why
there are fallacies in the system. To prove my point, I read this
book junior year of high school. The following year I took an
Advanced Placement Biology test. The information I had learned in
this books allowed me to answer an essay question on evolution,
sufficiently explaining while also intelligently exposing the
fallacies it presupposes and the jumps it makes along a logical
thought process. ALSO this book can help any lay person
understand the difference between macro evolution and micro
evolution.
The
Defender's Study Bible King James Version
This is an excellent Study Bible! It has plenty of notes dealing
with Creation as well as a wide variety of other important
topics. It supports literal Biblical Creationism and follows a
literal approach to all of the Bible!
Forbidden Archeology : The Hidden History of the
Human Race
Over the centuries, researchers have found bones and artifacts of
humans like us in rock evolutionarily dated at in the millions of
years. Mainstream science, however, has suppressed these facts.
Prejudices based on current scientific theory act as a
"knowledge filter," giving us a picture of prehistory
that is largely incorrect.
Special note: The authors of this book are not Creationists or even Christians. They accept the evolutionary time scale, but recognize the problems with evolution. The book presents no conclusions, but simply give the information. Proof that you do not have to believe the Bible to see that Evolution is false.
Genesis Record : A Scientific and Devotional
Commentary on the Book of Beginnings
The Genesis Record is the only commentary on the complete book of
Genesis written by a creationist scientist. Written as a
narrative exposition rather than a critical verse-by-berse
analysis, the book is equally useful to both the theologically
trained and the lay person.
The Great Dinosaur Mystery Solved
A dinosaur book like you've never seen before! Not only is the
"dinosaur mystery" solved, but you will be taught the
TRUE history of the earth and its inhabitants.
Icons of Evolution: Science or Myth?
Why is much of the popular theory of evolution wrong? This covers
scientific discoveries under explored in college and high school
texts, probing the popular but false images of evolution which
have dominated science - such as pictures of apes evolving into
humans - and pinpointing scientifically why they are false. This
calls for professional honesty in acknowledging recent
contradictions to such images, providing a thought provoking
analysis of Darwin's theory in light of recent science
discoveries.
In Six Days : Why 50 Scientists Choose to Believe
in Creation
This book covered a lot of aspects of God's creation along with
the creation/evolution controversy. The testimonies of these
scientists show that the evolution propaganda of the last century
has been devastating to science and devastating to anyone who
wants to have a different opinion apart from the flimsy
circumstantial evidence supposedly supporting the evolution
religion. Read it and see why these scientists and many others
reach out to their Creator.
In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation
and the Flood
This book is not so much about creationism as it is a great
theory about the possible origins of comets, asteroids, oceans
and continents. One thing about Brown's theory is that it is
comprehensive. He puts it right beside existing theories so you
can see where it is comparatively weak or strong. Along the way,
Brown demolishes a nearly-dead-already theory of human evolution.
Best of all, he has a stunningly logical and believable theory of
how the mammoths died. I loved this book. It is logical,
scientific, filled with clear charts and graphs (all well
explained), cross referenced, indexed, and very clearly written
for an adult who is well versed in only basic science. Read this
book. You will understand much more when you are done.
Intelligent Design : The Bridge Between Science
& Theology
The essence of intelligent design is simple and compelling, and
Dembski is possibly its best advocate. Since it *seems* unlikely
that natural processes can possibly cobble together an
extraordinary information code such found in DNA, then we're left
with a terrible explanatory gap.
The Lie : Evolution
I think all Christians would benefit from reading this book. If
they don't believe that Genesis is historical fact they will
realize the theological problems with their stance. If they do,
then they will be better prepared to stand their ground.
Noah's
Ark: A Feasibility Study
From "A Complete Inventory of the Animals and Supplies on
the Ark", through engineering, infrastructure, feeding
challenges, mtDNA, and End-Flood Events, Woodmorappe presents a
thoroughly convincing case for the livability and viability of
the Ark. Woodmorappe's simple explanations of the down-to-earth
details that allowed eight people to care for nearly 16,000
animals in no way diminishes the miraculous nature of the events
surrounding the Ark. By all accounts, God, the ultimate
scientist, chose to deal with the Ark, the selected animals, and
their caretakers in a very practical and elemental way.
Mythology
of Modern Dating Methods
Woodmorappe's work totally destroys the idea that radiometric
dating is inherently accurate for age determination. His
extensive research shows that the way dates are obtained,
accepted and rejected is very unscientific. In fact, they way the
defenders of radiometric dating argue, it seems that such methods
are inherently unfalsifiable. As such there can never be
anything wrong with the method itself, so if "bad"
results are obtained it must be the scientist's collection
methods, natural contamination, or specific conditions in which
certain methods will not work.
One Blood : The Biblical Answer to Racism
The much discussed problem of race relations is a false problem,
since there is only one race - the human race. It's about time
someone in the Evangelical leadership said this. This important
book presents the science that debunks the "races",
surveys the history of Darwinian racism, and points the way to
the Christian answer to our foolish tensions about trivial
physical differences.
Operation
Trojan Horse
Those familiar with Keel know that his belief is that UFOs are
not extraterrestrial in nature but "ultra-terrestrial".
This book explains UFOs and their relationship with phantom /
fairy lore, poltergeist / hauntings, religious
"phenomena," and magic. This book was written by
a non Christian but comes to essentially the same conclusion of
most Christian writers on UFO's.
Radioisotopes
and the Age of the Earth : Creationist Research
This book provides a wealth of information on alternatives to the
long ages suggested by conventional isotopic dates. Much of the
emphasis of this book is on the physics of radioactive decay, and
how decay rates can be changed. There are also some geologically
based studies of isotopic dating techniques.
Refuting Evolution
This book shows many of the fallacies of evolution. Look down
below and see that the intelligent sounding critics don't know
what they are talking about. For example, albitization as an
"explanation" for the disappearance of salt in the
ocean has been shown to be inadequate long ago. Showing that a
given material can easily be leached by water is only one of the
many flaws of radiometric dating methods that can be cited. There
is a world of difference between presently occurring events that
can be checked directly by empirical evidence, and past events
whose occurrence and direction of change can only be inferred.
Finally, evolutionary beliefs go back at least to ancient Greece.
Thus the notion that "everyone had to be a creationist"
centuries ago is ludicrous in the extreme.
Science Declares Our Universe Is Intelligently
Designed
Starlight and Time : Solving the Puzzle of Distant
Starlight in a Young Universe
Original and sound answer to a common problem. How can we see
light from stars billions away if the Bible says that creation
occurred in six consecutive normal days?
Studies
in Flood Geology a Compilation of Research Studies Supporting:
Explore similar items
This book consists of a compilation of Woodmorappe's papers
published in various journals during the past couple of decades.
They may be some of the most important papers published in
geology during that period. While most geologists have been
forced to abandon doctrinaire uniformitarianism, few have
questioned the underlying assumptions of such matters as fossil
succession and the geologic column, for example, at least to the
extent of Woodmorappe's penetrating analysis. Both evolutionists
and creationists need to be cognizant of the issues Woodmorappe
raises.
Summer for the Gods : The Scopes Trial and
America's Continuing Debate over Science and Religion
The 1925 Scopes "monkey trial," during which Darwin's
theory of evolution was essentially put on trial before the
nation. Inherit the Wind paints a romantic picture of John
Scopes as a principled biology teacher driven to present
scientific theory to his students, even in the teeth of a
Tennessee state law prohibiting the teaching of anything other
than creationism. The truth, it turns out, was something quite
different. In his fascinating history of the Scopes trial, Summer
for the Gods, Edward J. Larson makes it abundantly clear that
Truth and the Purity of Science had very little to do with the
Scopes case. Tennessee had passed a law prohibiting the teaching
of evolution, and the American Civil Liberties Union responded by
advertising statewide for a high school teacher willing to defy
the law. Communities all across Tennessee saw an opportunity to
put themselves on the map by hosting such a controversial trial,
but it was the town of Dayton that came up with a sacrificial
victim: John Scopes, a man who knew little about evolution and
wasn't even the class's regular teacher. Chosen by the city
fathers, Scopes obligingly broke the law and was carted off to
jail to await trial.
Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation
Validates Creationism, destroys evolution. A great book for
refuting the drivel force-fed to everyone by the evolutionists
and their lackeys in the public school systems and media.
The Young Earth
Based on his lifetime experience within the scientific community,
John D. Morris has masterfully put together a wealth of
information. This book cuts through the rhetoric used by the
media to propagate evolution as fact. This book carefully
discusses and analyzes the history of the earth. Each of the
conclusions allow the reader plenty of information to follow up
on, in case the reader is skeptical. This is a must have in your
library. Because this information is formatted to address the
average lay person, we should not deem it unworthy. John is the
president of ICR (Institute for Creation Research), and his
research and methodology is accurate and straightforward. I have
read the other lower rated reviews on this book and find they are
based on the philosophical beliefs of the individual and not on
fact. If you take the time to look into some of John's
conclusions you will find them to be not only accurate but
unambiguous. I have read many books by John D. Morris and his
father Henry Morris, and through careful analysis found no fault
in any of their books.
